Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Rumors:
After the success of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 which was launched last year, Xiaomi overtook Samsung to become the largest smartphone brand in India last month. The company is now getting ready to kick off its 2018 launch cycle. Xiaomi already sent out invitations to the media for a launch event on February 14 in New Delhi, India where we’re likely to see the Redmi Note 5.

Xiaomi already said that all their phones will be 18:9 ratio from 2018. The phone will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor. This phone will be available in 2 variants. There will be 32 GB internal memory with the first 3 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory with the second 4 GB RAM.
There’s also the possibility of a dual rear camera configuration, much like the Mi A1. Xiaomi said at the end of last year that it will turn its attention to the camera segment, so it is entirely feasible we’ll see considerable upgrades in this area. As per rumors, a dual camera setup can also be present in Radmi Note 5. Its back can have 16MP + 5MP dual setup rear camera. The phone will have an 8MP camera to take a selfie.
If you talk about battery backup, then this phone will get a strong battery of 4,000 mAh. This phone will run on Android 7.1 which will be based on MIUI 9. It is yet to be seen if it will be based on Oreo or Nougat. Xiaomi hasn’t detailed its Oreo update plans yet, but that could change next week.
